Purpose: data archive for social scientists--Dr. Kristen Olson "Roper provides a number of datasets that just can’t be accessed other places – as well as from an archiving place. I have considered archiving my own data with Roper, but we don’t have a membership and thus wouldn’t archive data somewhere that I can’t myself access… the ICPSR data archive is dramatically backlogged – I submitted a data set to ICPSR for archiving in February and it still hasn’t been made publicly available."
