- Department of English and Department of History and related programs (e.g., Nineteenth-Century Studies program) would be primary users, for both teaching and research purposes. Potentially also Journalism, when they offer their course on History of Crime & Media (offered this semester, for example).
- For UNL, all 8 collections: $582,982 (includes a $63,000 discount for all 8 collections). Otherwise, prices for individual collections range from $41,541 to $106,681. Annual access fees range from $1,216 to $2,929. I have a PDF outlining all of the costs/fees. Provided by Doug Fornberg from Readex in December 2016.
- One-time purchase price w/ annual maintenance fee

Notes
04/17/2017 9:11 AM : Kathy Johnson also supports the purchase of Early American Newspapers/all series. She and I held a series of conversations with the Department of English in Fall 2016, and this was the single-most requested resource during those session.
03/19/2019 3:45 PM - Charlene : Need to prioritize the collections to see if we can figure out a way to approach this need
